Our Social Distancing Policy

Bammy’s Navy Yard LLC is going to adhere vehemently to the social distancing protocols set forth by Muriel Bowser in response to COVID-19. 

We will be posting signage reminding people of social distancing requirements and will have markers on the ground in front of the restaurant as well as inside to help serve as a reminder. 

To help keep you and others safe, please:

  • Wear a mask or mouth covering

  • Avoid entering or waiting in line if you are exhibiting symptoms of any kind such as runny nose, fever, cough, or have a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19.

  • Maintain 6 feet of distance from each other who is not part of your household.

  • Cough or sneeze away from other people and into a tissue or one’s elbow or sleeve and immediately dispose of the tissue in a safe manner.

  • Do not shake hands or engage in any other physical contact

We will have someone outside at all times ensuring that people are adhering to these requirements. 

We will be pre-filling customers bags with their orders and leaving them on a contactless pick-up counter so as to adhere to all of the above. 

We will be implementing regular disinfecting procedures both in and outside of the restaurant especially near and around high contact surface areas. 

We will provide sanitizer in and outside of the restaurant for customer and employee use respectively. 

All areas inside and out of the restaurant will be properly sanitized every 30 minutes.

All employees of the restaurant will be required to wear gloves and masks. Gloves will be sanitized every 15 minutes. 

All employee workstations will be separated by 6 feet or more.

We will be taking the temperature of every employee who comes to work upon entering the building and upon exiting. These temperatures will be logged as well as their punch-in and punch-out time. 

Employees will be required to:

  • Notify us if they come into contact with anyone with the virus.

  • Anyone who tests positive will have to provide us with written confirmation from a healthcare professional stating that they are approved to return to work.

If an employee contracts the virus, we will immediately shut down for two weeks to allow all of our staff to be tested and quarantined.
